Share entire Work Space
- In the side menu, click your company name, then select Settings

-
Scroll down to "Members"

-
Click “Add Member”

- Enter the email address of the member you want to invite.

- Choose their role and click ‘Send invite’
There are three levels of membership roles in a Notion workspace:
- Owner: Has full control over the workspace, including billing, security settings, and member management. Can delete the workspace and transfer ownership. Only one owner per workspace.
- Admin: Can manage workspace settings, invite/remove members, and has full access to all content. Cannot delete workspace or transfer ownership. Can create and manage teams.
- Member: Has basic access to create, edit, and view content they've been given access to. Cannot manage workspace settings or member permissions. Limited to working within their assigned areas.
Each role has progressively fewer permissions, with Owner having the most control and Member having the least. You may find we need more access as we come to build more complex things.

Share a Page only with a Guest
- Note- When you share a page with someone, that person can see all the pages and databases that live on that page, and any pages inside those pages and databases and so on. Any databases that do not live on the page (or within) and are only a ‘linked view’ can NOT be seen by those sharing the page.
- Please note guests can not build automations or buttons. Only Members can do this.
- Choose a page you want to share or create a new page and give it a tile...

- Click on ‘Share’ in the top righthand corner.

This is what you will see...

There will also be a list of any people or teams that you already share the page with. That will look something like this...

Add a Guest to this Page
- To add a guest to this page you are going to need their email address used in their Notion account. Then click the section that states ‘People, emails, groups, or integrations.’

This box will appear and you can then type the email address into the section that states “Search email, names or groups. Before you click ‘Invite’...

To share with Jay add: [email protected]

CHOOSE the persons Access level. “Full Access” is best.
- “Full Access” means they can edit and add to the page, but also share the page with anyone.
- “Can Edit” - Someone can edit and add to the page but can not share it with others.

THEN choose ‘Invite’.
